Lookout Mountain Parent/Teacher Organization (LOM PTO)

About Us

Welcome back!

The Lookout Mountain PTO welcomes you back to another great year! We are busy planning fun events and fundraisers for the year. The Lookout Mountain PTO (parent teacher organization) is made up of parents, teachers, and staff. There are no membership dues. If you are a parent or guardian of a student at Lookout Mountain, then you are a member of the PTO. As a parent at Lookout Mountain Elementary, you are always welcome and encouraged to be involved. Studies show that children do better when their parents are involved in their school. This involvement may work many different ways for each individual.

Stay informed of school events and activities by liking our Facebook page.

We are excited to have you be part of the Lookout Mountain Elementary School PTO Community!

 Box Tops

BoxTops earns cash for our school.  Collect your Box Tops! Collections will occur in the fall and spring.

Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. You can still clip and send them to school.

Every valid Box Tops clip is worth 10¢ for your school. Make sure each one has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date.

Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Top label.

If you see this label, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Download here: https://www.boxtops4education.com.  Box Tops are still worth 10¢ each for your school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school’s earnings online.

LOM PTO will gladly collect box tops or receipts during our fall and spring collections this year.

You can also earn eBoxTops for LOM when you shop online at over 100 participating retailers. To learn more, visit www.btfe.com. If you are not registered, take this opportunity to add this resource to your family’s internet favorites list!

Amazon Smile

Lookout Mountain Parent Teacher Organization is now a registered Charity with Amazon. AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charitable organization. On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you need to select Lookout Mountain Parent Teacher Organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping.

If you shop from your iPhone or iPad, you will need to do the following once on each device: 1) Open Safari and type smile.amazon.com in the web address field at the top. AmazonSmile will open. 2) Touch the share button (looks like a box with an arrow) along the bottom of screen. 3) Touch Add to Home Screen. 4) Touch Add. 5) Remove the old Amazon app from your iPhone and iPad so that you will always shop at Amazon through AmazonSmile.
