Open enrollment status for the 2015-2016 school year:

If you reside outside of the school boundaries you child must have an approved open enrollment application form on file every school year.

Admission criteria for new and continuing students includes:

·        Physical capacity

·        Availability of staff personnel

·        Availability of needed resources

·        Capacity of grade levels, and relative special programs

Criteria for denial continuing students:

·        False or misleading information on open enrollment application

·        Major displinary concerns – 5 or more short term suspensions

·        A record of excessive (10 or more) unexcused absences and/or tardies

The entire open enrollment policy can be found on our website or can be requested through our front office.

All applications are due by May 15th.

Families will be notified of denials only.  “No news is good news”

The principal will notify parents if their student will be denied admittance for the following school year via letter and phone call. The letter will include reasons for denial.
